Welcome to my math doodles printables page. This is a work in progress. I hope you enjoy exploring some of these printable manipulatives. I plan to add suggestions on how to use the manipulatives soon.
Attributes Cards
Attributes Cards are based on the concepts found in the iPad app Attributes by Math Doodles. Each PDF of Attributes cards contains five pages. The first four pages include the artwork of 76 cards: 64 object cards, and 12 single trait cards. The fifth page contains the design for a box. The last page contains the design for the single trait foldable cubes. Print onto 8.5" x 11" sheets of 110 lb. card stock, and then cut out the cards and foldable box and cubes.
Crazy Traits - Attributes Card Game
2 or more players
1 full deck of 76 Attributes cards including 64 object cards and 12 single trait cards
Deal each player 5 cards facedown.
Place the remaining cards facedown on the table to create a draw pile.
Flip the top card from the draw pile face up and place it beside the draw pile to start a discard pile.
Begining with the player to the dealer's left, and continuing clockwise each player in turn must either play one of their cards on top of the face up discard pile, or take a card from the top of the draw pile.
A card can be played if at least one of the traits of the card being played matches at least one of the traits of the card on top of the discard pile. A single trait card can be played on any top card of the discard pile.
If the last card from the draw pile is used, shuffle all of the cards from the discard pile, except the top card, to create a new draw pile.
The first player to get rid of all of their cards wins.
Crazy Traits Optional Rules with Attributes Cubes
If a player doesn’t have a card with at least one trait matching one of the traits of the card on top of the discard pile, they must choose one of four options.
Option 1: Draw 1 card from the draw pile
Option 2: Choose & roll 1 attributes cube
If a player has a card with a trait matching the rolled trait, they can play the matching card.
If a player doesn’t have a matching card, they must draw 2 cards from the draw pile.
Option 3: Choose & roll 2 attributes cubes
If a player has a card with at least one trait matching one of the rolled traits, they can play the matching card.
If a player doesn’t have a matching card, they must draw 3 cards from the draw pile.
Option 4: Roll 3 attributes cubes
If a player has a card with at least one trait matching one of the rolled traits, they can play the matching card.
If a player doesn’t have a matching card, they must draw 4 cards from the draw pile.
Circuit Cubes
The Circuit Cubes PDF contains three pages. The first page includes the artwork for the gameboard and 6 markers. The second page contains the design for three foldable dice. You will need three copies of the dice page to create 9 cubes. Twenty puzzle cards are on the final page. Print onto 8.5" x 11" sheets of 110 lb. card stock, and then cut out the gameboard, markers, foldable cubes, and puzzle cards.
